For decades a LDA legislative priority has been the full funding of IDEA. LDA wants to recognize and applaud Senators Van Hollen (D-MD) and Roberts (R-KS) and Representative Huffman (D-CA), Senate and House bill sponsors, as well as their co-sponsors, who have just introduced bipartisan bills to fully fund the IDEA (S. 866 and H.R. 1878). Parents and advocates in several states have encouraged legislation requiring the use of cameras in special ed classrooms. If children are unable to report abuse because of a disability, the recordings can assist in investigations of suspected maltreatment. So far, Texas, Georgia and West Virginia have enacted legislation that either requires or allows the use of cameras. In March, West Virginia's governor signed a bill requiring cameras, upon parent or staff request, in primarily self-contained classrooms. The law goes into effect in July and is conditioned on the appropriation of state funds. ... Transformers reprint star convoy Figure Japan

In honor of Earth Day we'd like to highlight a biology conservationist Dan Spencer. As a teen, Dan struggled with grades because of dysgraphia but overcame challenges by finding "how he was smart" (spoiler: he has a strong Naturalistic Intelligence). Through this he is now employed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service working to conserve our environment.
